Make an impact wherever you go! by Richard Baumann
Dear friend, do you feel like people really listen to you?
Not many people admit that they just love being the center of
attention, but something is clear:we ALL want to be heard.
And being curious in who they really are as a person, is the highest form
of sincere flattery anyone could ever receive.
Do you want to feel that boosting sensation every time you walk into
the room?
It's easy...
Here are a few guidelines:
1. Keep a positive image: smile and keep a confident posture. Oh, and
try not to look like you just got out of bed and put on what was lying
on the floor. To be respected, you need to project a respectable
appearance.
2. Don't bad-mouth people! Sure, gossip is fun, but it might make the
people around you think that you talk behind their backs too. If you happen to be in a group where the favorite topic is how goofy is the boss or how X from next door should watch their personal hygene, here's where it gets tricky. You have to look like you approve, but in the same time, do not throw in some "dirt" of your own. On one hand you will be accepted by the group
and on the other, you won't be seen as a backstabber :P
3. Speak rarely, but with an impact. Don't you just hate people that go on and on and never make a point? Be careful... you don't want THAT to be you! Think twice before saying something and always make sure it's
an actual opinion, and not just something barely related to the topic.
4. Get the latest news. Even just for fun, read some magazines and
newspapers. You may find something you didn't already know. Also, it
can be a conversation starter! Especially if it's something funny.
Which brings us to number 5..
.
5. Do you have a funny bone? Humor is major. Even though serious people
have more depth and seem more intelligent and composed, who cares,
if they're boring? They'll LOVE you if they can feel relaxed around you.
6. Learn to use those words that make an impact. "Man, woman, sex,
discover, feel, love, power, money, new". The average number of words
we use per day has shrunk drastically, and mostly, it's because of teen
slang, that requires the use of "like, whatever, omg" every 30 seconds. Be articulate and well-spoken. It will be a pleasure for people to listen to you!
Be the person THEY admire. Earning your place on a pedestal will make
it easier for YOU especially if you want to use your hypnosis skills!
Have a fun day,
Richard
Enjoy!
sincerely,
Margarita Nomeikiene
