The Winner's Circle by Dr. Denis Waitley

Every four years we see those five, brilliant, interlocking Olympic rings on flags and in television and billboard advertising globally. The Olympic Games are where the best in the world go for the gold and the few stand, listening to their national anthem, in the coveted winner's circle. If the five Olympic rings were attitudes of champions in every profession, these five attitudes would be prominent in the mindset of the peak performer:

1. Paying the Price -- Everyone wants to win, but few are willing to invest the time and effort. Paying the price means focusing on developing the skills and training regimen of champions – observation, imitation, repetition and the internalization of knowledge into habits; also, learning why and how to go the extra mile and seeing success as a marathon, not a dash. Champions view failures as temporary inconveniences and learning experiences.

2. The Olympian Within -- Winners believe in their worth in advance of their performance. Most people base their worth on their current status or achievement level, which means that until they are judged successful by society's standards, they have little to be proud of. Champions believe in their dreams when they have only a dream to hang on to, even in the face of criticism and superior achievements by others.

3. Non-situational Integrity -- Authentic, lasting winners have an uncompromising attitude about self-honesty. They function according to an "integrity triangle", consisting of three basic questions: (a) Are my beliefs based upon truth? (b) Do my words and actions correspond with truth and honesty? (c) Before I speak or act, do I honestly consider the impact of my decision on other people and the environment?

4. The "Coachability" Factor -- Champions are always open to alternatives to improve their performance. Consistent winners are not the arrogant egotists who dominate the media spotlight. The most successful individuals in the game of life are often the most approachable, most gracious, non-judgmental with others and most critical of their own performances, as well as most eager to learn and improve.

5. Being a Team Player -- a team in harmony is synergy in motion, where the whole is greater than the sum of the individual talents. When all assignments are understood, when each takes 100 percent responsibility for the outcome, a quantum leap in performance takes place. Winners learn how to become interdependent, without sacrificing individuality; how to stand out, while fitting in.

Go for the "gold" in your life!

Miracles are your responsibility

What does that mean?

Simple...

You have a responsibility to create miracles in your own life. Theresponsibility lies on your shoulders. You cannot blame anyone else, and you can't look outside of yourself for someone else to create the miracles for you.

In this article, I'm going to break down the word "Miracle", because each of you have a responsibility.

As you know, my Why is to impact others, change the world one heart at a time and create 1,000 Millio-naires!

As you read this today, my goal is for you to take responsibility and realize that you have the innate ability to create miracles.

So let's get started!

The letter "M" means Momentum, which is created by you. You must create Momentum in your life for yourself, for your Why, for your family, for your success, for your finances, for your health...

-- *YOU create Momentum* --

No one else will do it for you. You aren't a surfer waiting for the next wave to come in. You and only you must create your own Momentum to drive you toward creating your Miracle!

The letter "I" stands for Incentive. You must have something inciting you to action...your ultimate "Why". Why are you doing what you are doing? Why do you want to begin that business? An Incentive builds the foundation that keeps you focused on your Miracle.

No doubt about it!

But again, it is your responsibility to determine what your incentive is and how it will drive you toward your Miracle.

The letter "R" stands for Revelation. As you read this today, get a Revelation! It's your responsibility...no one else's. It doesn't matter who you are, where you came from, how much money you have... get a Revelation.

YOU can and will create Miracles!!! :)

The letter "A" stands for Action. I know you've heard this before, but read this today, print it out and decide that you are going to take Action to create Miracles. Once again, no one will do it for you! Take the Action that you know that you need to take to create your Miracle.

The letter "C" stands for Commitment. Finally...once and for all...dive right into it...get Committed to your Miracle! It's your responsibility.

Inside you is a reason for why you are here...your Miracle... so Commit to it.

Go for it!

The letter "L" stands for Love. You must Love what you do. You must Love the Miracle that you are focused on creating. If your Miracle is all about money...you will fail! Your Miracle cannot be based on money. Your Miracle must be based on what you can do to impact the world, which will produce everlasting results.

You will produce true Miracles!

Don't let anyone else tell you what you must do for mo.ney. Love what you do and create your own Miracles.

The letter "E" stands for Energy. Your gonna need Energy to create your Miracle. There's no such thing as it "falling in your lap", "luck" or "winning the lotto" in a success mindset. It takes hard work! You need the Energy to take those daily action steps to create your Miracle.

Again, it is your responsibility to maintain your Energy to create your Miracle.

Miracle...It's your responsibility!

Creating 1,000 Mil.lionaires One at a Time!

Are you next?

Always remember...

Champions make decisions and Decisions make *Millio.naire Champions*!

To be successful in Internet Marketing

One of the fun things about Internet Marketing is that you get to learn some amazing strategies and make a ton of new like-minded friends.

It's good to rub shoulders and hang out with some of the biggest names in internet marketing (this is where the real learning takes place).

So what I now do is make sure I share as much as I can with some of the other people I meet in myInternet travels. Like yourself, .

Today, I'm going to share with you an extremely important lesson that many Internet experts learned the hard way.

Here is is:

To be successful online you need to *focus* on *doing* the things that will *make you m0ney* and that is:

1) Building your opt~in list

2) Advertising your site(s)

3) Working your leads

4) Tracking everything (to see if it's effective)

5) Seeking our joint venture partners

Notice how I didn't mention things like:

- Researching and playing around autoresponders,

affiliate software etc...

- Fiddling with your website

- Reading ezine after ezine

- Surfing other people's sites

- Hanging out in forums

- Organizing your email

- Backing up your files

- Doing competitive intelligence

- etc... etc...

While all of the above have their time and place, if you spend the majority of your time on them your online income WILL suffer.

You really have to focus, I mean *really focus* on one project or op~ortunity at a time.

Even if you are already bored of your project you still have to see it through and do the things necessary to make this project as profitable as possible BEFORE you go on to the next project.

You know, when I was starting off, I met a lot of very successful marketers at various places... but guess what!

A lot of them didn't know much more than I did about internet marketing.

Heck, some of them surprised me by how much they DIDN'T know :o)

So then I had to ask myself the question, "How did they make great incomes online while I just made a mediocre Internet income?"

Simple... they *ACTED* on the knowledge they had, and stayed *focused* and *consistent* on their projects.

They punched their time card and went to work.

They treated their internet marketing bus1nesses just like a job and put in the time (even when it was boring and they would rather have been working on something else).

So that's my challenge to you this week, I want you to ACT and make a mental effort to only spend time on one of the 5 activities I mentioned earlier that will *make you m0ney*.

As always I love hearing:

- How things are going in your bus1ness (and your life)

- What you like (and don't like) about these bulletins

- Your opinion on something I said

- Any questions that you may have

- Or anything else you want to tell me

So go ahead hit the REPLY button and send me an email.

Until next time, Here's my hand for success,

John Denton
