Entrepreneurial Thinking

Dear Friend,

OK, what does being entrepreneurial have to do with all this? Everything! As President/CEO of "Me, Inc.," you must understand, utilize and leverage your number one asset.

Moreover, it is a well-known fact in the great annals of entrepreneurial success that super achievers have developed their minds to such a degree as to continually tap into the higher-conscious and sharpen their propensity for hunches and synchronicities (more on this to come).

Lots of success programs tell you what to do, but only the Harmonic Wealth Weekend shows you how to think and create the life you really want... Make a commitment to your number one asset... your mind. Treasure it and see it as much more valuable than your bank account, your properties and your body.

Be cautious of the language you choose, particularly following the words "I am." A statement like "I am tired" gives a direct command to the unconscious to bring this into reality. Obviously, you can command worse results than tiredness. Choose wisely.

No more skinny mentality. All great leaders are great readers. How many books will you commit to reading each month starting now? How many seminars will you attend each year that develop your mind?

Put your money where your values lie. I can always tell what a person truly values by two indicators: where they spend their time and their money. Check you bank book and see how much you have invested in your own growth, development and learning in the last year. Are you impressed with what you find? Resolve to increase that amount substantially starting today. Typically, if you get a 20-30% return on your investment portfolio, you're doing very well. However, every dollar you invest in the growth of your mind will conservatively return you 100 times your investment.

Einstein said, "Intuition does not come to an unprepared mind." When he discovered the theory of relativity, it came to him in a flash of intuition. But only after he had studied and pondered the great mysteries of physics for years. This preparation allowed him to observe things that would have gone unnoticed to the "unprepared mind." Get prepared.

To your continued wealth and happiness,

Your Number One Responsibility by James Ray

Dear Friend,

Current data tell us that the individual in today's workplace will change careers (not jobs, but careers) an average of SIX times over their lifetime. Consequently, your new loyalty must be to your number-one asset... your own capabilities. Your business results, and your business, will grow in direct proportion to how much you grow.

Winston Churchill said, "The price of greatness is responsibility." With greater and greater results comes greater and greater responsibility. Consequently, your number-one responsibility is to grow to meet the ever-increasing challenges that you face.

I remember an article I read some time ago about a highly successful multi-million-dollar entrepreneur. This is a person who owns 70 companies (amazing).

Lots of success programs tell you what to do, but only the Harmonic Wealth Weekend shows you how to think and create the life you really want... When asked the secret of his success he answered, "Leverage." The subsequent question was, "What do you leverage?"

To which he answered, "Four things: My mind, my experience, my time and my money... in that order!"

He went on to say, "Unfortunately most unsuccessful people do just the opposite. They leverage their money, their time, their experience followed by their mind."

Obviously, to truly utilize your mind your must fully understand your mind. We have a four-part mind consisting of: body, unconscious, conscious and higher conscious. It is important to understand that when James Allen said, "Man is mind," he was absolutely correct.

To your continued wealth and happiness,

James Ray

Enjoy!

Fear of public speaking by Dr. Mike Davison

Fear of public speaking can hold you back in your career success or overall ability to achieve your goals. Fear of public speaking can also be a serious obstacle to overcome. Every day, thousands of people face severe anxiety over speaking in front of an audience. The good news is there are many steps you can take to overcome this stumbling block.

Many things can cause public speaking fear. We tend to place unreasonable expectations upon ourselves to perform perfectly in front of our audience. It is often the fear of appearing foolish or making a mistake that is a greater factor than anything else. This anxiety plays a large part in why so many people are afraid to speak in front of large crowds.

The reality is audiences do not expect to hear perfect grammar or an exhaustive litany covering every possible detail of your topic. You have to ask yourself, "Why has this audience gathered in front of me?" If you can successfully impart your message by conveying two or three crucial points, consider yourself to be a success.

Have you ever watched a really dynamic speaker and wondered how they capture the attention of their audience? You are probably thinking to yourself, "This person has never experienced fear of public speaking." There is no such thing as a natural when it comes to speaking in front of a large group. Some speakers are better able to control their public speaking anxiety, as minimal as it may be, than others.

However, when it comes down to it, we are all "naturals" to one extent or another. Think back to a time when you were the most relaxed when speaking in a group. Maybe you were relating a funny story in front of friends or discussing a topic that you are very passionate about. It is very possible to capture that same ease and naturalness every time you speak in front of a large audience. To overcome fear of public speaking, it is critical to release any negative emotions that you may have about the experience. When we are in a state of anxiety and distress, it is difficult to function at optimal level. The physical manifestations of stress like sweating, shaking and stammering can contribute to our fear of public speaking. Like a vicious cycle, the physical symptoms of anxiety cause even more distress, as the body pulls the mind into an even deeper state of panic.

There are many programs available to help you overcome fear of public speaking. The best programs allow you to directly address the root cause behind your reservations. For example, methods like the release technique teach you to examine and identify negative feelings. Then, through this technique, these emotions are released to achieve maximum success in all areas of life.

The basic premise behind the release technique is that worry, fear and panic trap us in an unending cycle of unhappiness and dissatisfaction. Once the anxiety is released, you will reach a "flow state" in which you will be able to achieve all of your goals. The release technique is like a key opening a door, allowing your potential and brilliance to shine through in public speaking and all other areas of life.

Fear of public speaking can be a burdensome obstacle to overcome. If public speaking anxiety is preventing you from achieving your goal, the release technique may be able to help you deal with this challenge.
