Evidence to support by Mike Davison
Insight #5
Find and ?create? evidence to support your vision
People are like bad scientists; we walk around with ourbelief (theories) and look for data to support them.
You must be ?purposeful? in creating evidence to support your Life?s Purpose.
Learn to use ?negative? feedback from the world cautiously.
Wayne Dyer refers to this as become a reverse paranoid ?assume the world is conspiring to assist you and support you along your path.
Think of so called ?negative feedback? merely as a test of your commitment.
Powerful Means of Creating the Evidence
Visualization. Picture your purpose clearly in your mind?s eye. Your behavior will match your image of yourself.
Affirmations. Write affirmations as statements in the positive and in the present tense, specific, and motivating. State your affirmations daily, with total behavior ? utilizing behavior, thinking, and emotional and physiological intensity.
Poster board: Create a poster board that represents your Life?s Purpose. Include words, phrases, pictures and anything that symbolizes your purpose.
Write a purpose statement: Use emotionally charged words, state
it in the positive, keep it brief.
Keep a purpose journal: Each morning write down at least THREE things you can do each day in the service of your purpose. Make a nightly entry, identifying what you did or accomplished each day that is in the service of your purpose.
Manage self-talk. Smash the ANTS in our life ? automatic negative thoughts. Learning to notice, catch and interrupt unproductive and limiting patterns of thinking.
Use language of intention. Avoid destructive language like can?t, I?ll try, I have to? Replace with language of intention (e.g. I will, I fully intend to...).
Ask for what you need. Ask and you shall receive ? unless you don?t. However, if you don?t you are no worse off.
Teach your purpose. Research is clear that teaching something helps us understand it at a greater level. A principle used in medical residency training, ?learn one, do one, teach one?.
?There is a law in psychology that if you form a picture in your mind of what you want you would like to be, and you keep and hold that picture there long enough, you will soon become exactly as you had been thinking?. William James
?Cherish your visions and your dreams as they are the children of your soul, the blueprints of your ultimate achievements.?
- Napoleon Hill

Act ?as if?. Mike Davison
Insight #4
Act ?as if?.
It was put best by Thoreau when he wrote: ?I have learned this at least by my experiment: that if one advances confidently in the direction of his dreams, and endeavors to live the life which he has imagined, he will meet with a success unexpected in common hours.?
- Henry David Thoreau
Remember, your feelings are not facts. Feelings can be quite fickle. Along your path you will experience moments of discouragement. Discouragement is one of the quickest pathways to shattered dreams. While being in tune with your feelings in discovering your life's purpose, your feelings can rapidly get you off track in the process of pursuing your purpose.
?The chief danger in life is that you may take too many precautions?. Alfred Adler
Today read the brief poem by Mattie Stepanek and answerthe questions below.
Facing the Future
Every journey begins
With but a small step.
And every day is a chance
For a new, small step
In the right direction.
Just follow your Heartsong.

Questions to Ponder
How can I best stay on tract toward my Life's Purpose?
What can I do if I find myself off track?
What can I say to myself to get back on track?
Who will give me the support and accountability I need to stay on the path?

Building the RIGHT Team by the Great Doug and Claudia Brown
Dear Reader,
You'll love this article by the Great Doug and Claudia Brown...
Make Your Venture *SOAR* by Building the RIGHT Team
*Build a Team - The Right Team (There is a Difference)*
Creating the *RIGHT - TEAM* is IMPERATIVE to your success...
A TEAM is comprised of people who can bring necessary skill sets to
the venture. A team is different from partners...
PARTNERS are financially and legally tied to the venture while team members are brought in to create and continue the process...
Team members can be employees or sub-contactors. These are people you can control simply because *YOU* get to pick them. Who will you pick? What kind of person do you want on your team?:)
You can use their services for as long as you like. If they don't work out as planned, you can find a different team member or you can find a place on the team where this person can be more effective
Creating the right *Environment* for the team is equally important
People will give their -> Best <-when they feel that their services
are being valued and that they are entrusted with producing a part of the success of the venture
Team members must have the same - values - as that of the venture
and they must follow the same code of conduct consistent with your
desired outcome.
They must truly want the venture to be a success, work well with
the other team members and give more than they are asked for in
their areas of expertise
This does not mean extra hours; it means working with *Heart and Soul*, working with the creative minds flowing, working with a positive mental attitude, and working together with the others so that all are...
$ => Winners <= $
Yes, that's right, everyone is a WINNER when the venture works!
How can you create a positive, successful team and have each
person feel that they are as important a part of the success of the venture as you are?
Study successful entities to find out how they treat their team members. Find out what motivates team members in successful entities to keep them
successful - is it money, power, trust, fear, etc.?
Thinking these things out before you create the team will help you
in putting together the right teamfor your venture
You should write out all the positions of your team and keep
updating it as you grow as when you grow you will need to change
out some positions on your team
Just like upgrading your peer group, always be open to and active
in upgrading your team members.
You must strive to place the right people on your team. This goes for
all positions you pay for, including lawyers, accountants, advisors,
sub-contractors etc.
Be clear on what is a must upfront and make the positions open as
specific as possible
If you are just starting out then make your team as simple and
complete as possible. Just be sure that your team members are
able to excel and have knowledge in the industry and direction
you are going in
Never pay a team member 100% upfront for their services as this always
gives them something to aspire to
Placing the right team members in the right place will make your endeavor ***SOAR***
Keep Moving Forward!
Success Comes by Placing One Foot in Front of the Other -
Making Your Plan a Reality...
