...You Can Do the Same by Nick Usborne

Alpha Freelancers Seek Out and Accept Only High-Value Engagements – You Can Do the Same by Nick Usborne

Your next freelance copywriting client could be worth $1,000 to you. Or it could be worth $10,000 or more.

It’s up to you.

No, it isn’t the luck of the draw. No, it isn’t about the economy. No it isn’t about competition from other freelancers.

If you think the value of your next freelance assignment is determined by external factors, you’re just making excuses.

It is determined by you.

Alpha freelancers have a plan. They know where they are going. They have a goal and a set of waypoints to reach between where they are now, and where they want to get to.

Having a plan, and a goal in mind, means that every action they take is considered and deliberate.

They don’t accept assignments that happen to come along. They seek out assignments that will help them achieve their goals.

This kind of deliberate focus on the future has an important side-effect. Freelancers who plan ahead are a lot more business-like in their choice of work.

They sit in the driver’s seat of their business and are proactive.

They assess the value of each assignment. They deliberate over the value of certain kinds of clients.

The seek out value. They are value driven.

Here is what I mean:

* Alpha freelancers target high-value clients who have plenty of money to spend.

* Alpha freelancers look for high-value projects which are critical to the revenues of their clients.

* Alpha freelancers negotiate with their clients and drive up the value of individual assignments.

And so on.

This is the mark of truly successful freelancers. They focus on the growth of their business. They are deliberate in their choice of clients and projects. They seek to maximize the value of every engagement.

Successful freelancers don’t accept a new assignment simply because they are in the habit of saying yes to every new piece of work that comes their way. They know what they want , and they start work each day with a determination to get it.

The shift from being a regular freelancer to being an alpha freelancer is not something that happens overnight. It is a process that takes time. However, there are certain strategies that any freelancer can borrow from the alpha toolbox and start using immediately.

In particular, there are four strategies you can use right now to maximize the money you make from every new assignment you work on.

It is these four strategies I will be sharing in tomorrow’s webinar sponsored by Wealthy Web Writer, “Four Strategies for Increasing the Money You Make from Every Project You Do.”

If you own my program, Copywriting 2.0: Your Complete Guide to Writing Web Copy that Converts you’ll get access to this webinar free, and will automatically receive instructions later today.
